Haus Bürgel is surrounded by large paddocks. In good weather, up to 30 horses graze on the lush meadows. Most of them are kept and cared for at the stables run by the Reuter family at Haus Bürgel.
The sturdy draft horses, which the Reuter family has been breeding for over 100 years, attract special attention from passers-by and visitors.
