By bus and train:

Take an RE or S-Bahn train to Düsseldorf-Benrath. From there, take [PDF] bus line 788 toward Monheim am Rhein until you reach the Haus Bürgel stop. Coming from Monheim am Rhein bus station, take [PDF] bus line 788, which runs every half hour.

By car

On the Autobahn 59, take exit 24 Langenfeld-Richrath and turn off in the direction of Baumberg. Follow Berghausener Strasse and at second traffic circle, take the first exit towards the right onto the main road. Follow the main road (Hauptstrasse) and the signs for Haus Bürgel.

By bike

Haus Bürgel is very easy to reach by bicycle, for example along the [extern] Rhine Cycle Route. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia has a handy bicycle route planner for preparing your bike tour.

On foot / hiking

Haus Bürgel is located directly on the 13^th stage of the [extern] “neanderlandSTEIG” hiking trail. The Auenblicke network also offers beautiful circular trails for walkers of every age.
